PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Cantt Shahjahanpur was established in 1978 and shifted to its current premises in 1995. To fulfill the increasing demand of the stakeholders and impart education to more students, second shift was started in this Vidyalaya in 2013. The school’s goal has always been to strive for continuous improvement and excellence. As long as there is room for progress and development, the school’s efforts will continue.
To keep pace with the latest technological advancements, computer literacy is imparted to students from classes III to XII. The school takes pride in having three fully-equipped computer labs.
The second shift of the school currently has 2 sections from class I to XII. The first batch of Class XII Science students started in 2016, followed by the first batch of Class XII Humanities students in 2018.
The school’s sports facilities include a cricket ground, football ground, volleyball court, kho-kho ground, and a 200m track. The school has a strength of 800 students, mostly from the defense sector, and a dedicated team of 36 staff members catering to their needs.
